Students engage in activities outside of the classroom and lead healthcare related organizations on campus.

Healthcare Club

The Healthcare Club is a student-run club dedicated to promoting interest in the intersection of healthcare and business by offering co-curricular and career-related activities to students. The Healthcare Club provides a variety of career-related opportunities including an industry insights program at the start of the recruiting season, a fall health care trek to visit health care companies and organizations, and peer-interview preparation and resume reviews. Fellows Program

Healthcare Fellows are second year students who work closely with faculty and staff to shape the health care activities on campus and serve as a resource for prospective students interested in health care at Tuck. In addition to completing a healthcare focused project, Healthcare Initiative Fellows have the opportunity to host visiting health care executives on campus, serve as advisors to the Healthcare Initiative, plan health care events, and serve as a representative of the Healthcare Initiative to the broader Tuck community. Learn more about our current HCI Fellows.

Speaker Series

The Healthcare Initiative hosts the ongoing Uhrig Healthcare Initiative Speaker Series, dedicated to addressing pressing issues in healthcare. In addition, numerous health care experts visit campus regularly as visiting executives, guest lecturers and class visitors.  Students are given unique access to meet with speakers through luncheons and one-on-one office hours.

Tucks hosts a wide range of conferences each year including the Business and Society Conference, the Private Equity Conference, Diversity Conference, and the Women in Business Conference. Conferences are open to all Tuck students and many include a diverse offering of speakers and panels, often including healthcare topics and speakers.

Case Competitions

Case competitions provide students with an opportunity to apply business skills to real world issues in health care. The Healthcare Initiative is available to support students interested in entering case competitions focused on healthcare issues.
