Kelly Miller T’17

Kelly is a second-year student at Tuck, is pursuing a dual degree Masters of Public Health from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, and serves as a Healthcare Initiative Fellow at Tuck. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in economics. She spent two years post undergrad as a research assistant at the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, a non-partisan legislative advisory body that makes recommendations to Congress about Medicare policy. Kelly moved from Washington D.C. to the Bay Area, where she worked at the Integrated Healthcare Association on a Pay for Performance program for medical groups in California. Since coming to Tuck, Kelly has helped plan the Healthcare Trek to Boston, participated in a healthcare FYP (assessing the feasibility of a palliative care program at an Indian Health Services hospital on a Navajo reservation in Chinle, Arizona), and partnered with Iora Health on an independent study. She spent her summer in Minneapolis, MN on the corporate strategy team at Optum, the Health Services and Technology division of UnitedHealth Group.
